1953: Salt Employee Benefits is born as Hoskens Pension & Life Brokers
1987: Hoskens purchased Majix – a legacy based administration system which was a pioneer for its time.
1994: The Thebe Investment Corporation, the oldest large black-owned investment holding company in South Africa, purchases the company from Hoskens. The newly formed company becomes known as Thebe Employee Benefits.
2012: Salt Invest purchases Thebe Employee Benefits and changes the company name to Salt Employee Benefits.
